Plugmind’s client area themes for WHMCS are Calm, Steady, Clear, Warm, Keen, Solid, Open, Polished, Crisp, Gentle, Bold and Fresh. Each has its own look, and each is its own purchase. They all run on Plugmind Themes for WHMCS, a free add-on with three parts:
- The add-on (
modules/addons/plugmind_calm). It holds the settings for whichever theme you use, and your licence key. It checks each theme’s licence. - The cart (
templates/orderforms/plugmind_cart): WHMCS’s Standard Cart in your theme’s colours. - The staff template (
admin/templates/plugmind-calm): WHMCS’s Iris staff layout in Calm’s look, with a side menu that folds to icons and dashboard cards.
Each theme is one folder, such as templates/plugmind-steady. It’s built on WHMCS’s own Twenty-One theme, so WHMCS’s updates keep reaching it. You don’t need Calm to use another theme.
What you need #
WHMCS 9.0 or later, self-hosted. The ionCube Loader, which WHMCS already uses. PHP’s sodium extension, which most hosts have on.
Install #
- Download Plugmind Themes for WHMCS and your theme from My Account › Downloads at plugmindstudio.com.
- Upload the add-on’s
modules, templatesandadminfolders, and your theme’stemplatesfolder, to your WHMCS folder. Keep the folders as they are. Nothing of WHMCS’s own is replaced. If you’ve renamed WHMCS’sadminfolder, puttemplates/plugmind-calmfrom the add-on’sadminfolder into your renamed folder instead. - In WHMCS, go to System Settings › Addon Modules, find Plugmind Themes and choose Activate. Choose Configure, tick the administrator roles that may change its settings, and save.
- Open Addons › Plugmind Themes › Licence, paste your licence key from My Account › Licences, and choose Save and check now.
- On the Themes tab, choose Preview to see your client area in a theme, then Use this theme.
- Choose your colours, wordmark, homepage and sign-in page on the other tabs. Each theme keeps its own colours.
- For the cart, go to System Settings › General Settings › Ordering and choose plugmind_cart as the Default Order Form Template. A product group with its own order form template keeps that one; change it in the group’s settings.
SupportPal: if you use SupportPal’s WHMCS integration, its pages (tickets, the knowledge base, announcements and downloads) show in your theme’s look. There’s nothing to set up.
